I have a jar of pickled jalapenos leftover from my Chili Bar Party. They are super spicy so I decided to sweeten them up a bit...time for some candied jalapenos! I didn't do any measuring, everything is a guess. I started with 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup sugar. I heated it up and add some of the jalapenos. I let it simmer for 10 minutes. I would taste the syrup and if it was still super spicy I would add in a little more sugar.
They were AMAZING on a burger.
The spiciness with the hint of sweetness was to die for.
