Herbed Croutons

I raided the Mother Unit's garden before we left which resulted in a fridge full of beautiful fresh herbs. I chopped up some of the rosemary and oregano for these lovely herbed croutons. Mr. Lawyer is making one of his delicious salads. Tonight's features apples, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, and red onion over romaine and tossed with a little yogurt ranch dressing. These croutons will make a lovely, and crunchy, addition!
Homemade Herbed Croutons
Ingredients:
Bread (I used sourdough)
Herbs (I used rosemary, oregano, and red pepper flakes)
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
1. Cut bread into appropriate crouton cubes.
2. Lightly coat the croutons with olive oil. Mix in desired amount of salt, pepper, and herbs.
3. Preheat oven to 400. Bake croutons for 10-15 minutes or until they reach the desired crunchy texture. Stir them occasionally for even browning.
